The Simple Text Scanner application is a useful tool for converting English text from images using its OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function.
Benefits of using The Simple Document (Cam) Scanner application include:

- Copying text from English documents to be sent via email or SMS
To use the app, follow these steps:
- Load an image from your gallery or take a picture using the camera.
- Select the English text area of the image using the crop function.
- Adjust the picture's horizontal alignment by tapping on it.
- Tap the read icon to initiate text recognition.
- Check the resulting text.
- The recognized text can be used for translation, copy and paste, and sharing with other applications.
If your device does not have a translation application, we recommend setting up Google translation.
